About

After stumbling through pages-and-pages of my culminated reviews, ramblings and interviews conducted around my first three years of learning how to Melbourne, you have found my about page.

As you’d be led to believe my name is Anniemae Goldring I am an aspiring publicist and a full-time student with an unrelenting passion for learning and Music.  Starting at 16-years-old working doors at small local shows in my hometown of Mildura – I gained an appreciation for the importance of the support network that facilitates a thriving music scene.

I graduated with Distinction in 2017 from RMIT with a Bachelor of Communication (Media) and am currently undertaking my final trimester of my Bachelor of Applied Business (Entertainment Management) at Collarts; while simultaneously undertaking a Diploma of Arts (Audio Engineering).

During my time at RMIT I was involved with two major extensive marketing campaigns for student-driven projects alongside 7 months interning at SpeakerTV staying on as a freelance contributor till 2018; and a 6 month stint interning at Flagrant Artist Management.

I have since completed an 8 month internship at Mushroom Promotions; participated in The Push’s 2019 Music Industry Mentorship program, undertook an internship at Deathproof PR, and a stint of contractor work assisting the team at 24 Hundred.

Alongside these pursuits I also have actively engaged with various events within the industry, assisting in supporting artists across Australia through The Australian Tattoo Expo and Rites of Passage as well being apart of the teams behind Between The Bays, Download, Mirabel’s 20th Birthday, NYE on the Hill, and UNIFY two years back to back in both Volunteer Coordination and Accreditation.

I endeavour to continue to utilise my words, skills, experience and background in order to inform my practice with my passion.
